Groovy 70s Text Effect Mockups

This pack contains 4 text effect mockups for Photoshop featuring 1970's inspired retro style. The text effect is very versatile and has lots of customization options. You can change all of the colors independently; two fill colors, stroke color, depth color, shadow color and background color.

Each text mockup features a sample text design which is fully editable and can be updated with your content. You can then adjust the text and background colors to suit your needs. You can use any font you wish.

Updating the Main Text

1. Open any of the 4 provided template files in Photoshop.
2. Double click on the thumbnail of the Smart Object layer named '[YOUR DESIGN HERE]'.
3. Replace the placeholder content with your own content.
4. Save and close the Smart Object.

Changing the Main Text Color

1. Double click on the 'Change Fill 1 Color' layer thumbnail.
2. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.
3. Double click on the 'Change Fill 2 Color' layer thumbnail.
4. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.

Changing the Text Outline (Stroke) Color

1. Double click on the 'Change Stroke Color' layer thumbnail.
2. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.

Changing the Depth Color

1. Double click on the 'Change Depth Color' layer thumbnail.
2. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.
3. (Optional: you can hide the Depth group completely if preferred)

Changing the Shadow Color

1. Double click on the 'Change Shadow Color' layer thumbnail.
2. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.

Changing the Background Color

1. Expand the 'Background' layer group in the Layers Panel.
2. Double click on the 'Change Background Color' layer thumbnail.
3. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.
